Lip Smacker

The worlds first LiP SMACKER was created in 1973 as a strawberry treat for your lips and the world's first ever, totally original lip product was born. Over 40 years later, these colourful, collectable tubes are still putting a smile on faces around the globe.

Working closely with the LiP SMACKER's team, a colourful, joyful design was created to exhibit the seasonality of the LiP SMACKER flavours. The website needed to look as tasty and enticing as the flavours, and also appeal to a youthful, yet sophisticated audience.

The website was designed to be as simple and easy to use as possible. It featured seasonal flavours with interactive flavour patterns exhibited as the website backgrounds, an eCommerce facility, cross selling opportunities within the customer journey and a "Create a Collection" area which allows customers to customise gift packs according to gift type, size, pattern and flavour. Each part of the website was responsive, so that customers could interact and purchase on their phones whilst on the go.

The website was developed by Twenty4 using the Magento eCommerce platform, which has been extended and tweaked to integrate with the LiP SMACKER packaging and shipping system.
